Joy is an OB/GYN physician practicing in a rural town in the Southeastern USA. She has an interest in women’s health education, health policy advocacy & access to care, improving maternal child health, and advancing minimally invasive GYN surgery.

Though she trained in a well-known, large, urban tertiary care center, she chooses to practice in a critical access hospital because she believes that women everywhere deserve access to good, specialized healthcare.

Outside of the hospital, Joy is 30-something, single and sweet/sassy. She is committed to her Faith, family and friends. Her favorite things are music, books, roller skates, good food, the ocean, lip gloss, pretty dresses, and beautiful shoes!
